Welcome to the Flower of Light -
a centre for small groups to gather together to connect with the sacred
sites on Luxor's West Bank. This charming and authentically Egyptian designed Centre is perfectly situated on the West bank of Luxor. Nestled at the foot of the mountains of the Valley of the Kings and overlooked by Thoth Hill known as the “Crown of Thebes”, and close to the house of Howard Carter. Situated directly in front of the Flower of Light Centre and built on the very top of Thoth Hill is the highest temple in Egypt, and the oldest temple in the West bank of Luxor. The Flower of Light Centre is on the edge of the traditional Egyptian village of Qurna, its perfect and unique location ensures our guests quick and easy access to all the temples, tombs and treasures that the West Bank of Luxor has to offer. The Valley of the Kings,Valley of the Queens, the New Qurna Museum, The Colossi of Memnon and Malkata are all within a 10 minute drive from the Flower of Light Centre. Shops, Restaurants, Pharmacies and the New Qurna Hospital are also within walking distance. |
